Asbel Lhant - Curry
Here we have the recipe for Asbel's favorite meal, Curry!
Curry
Equipment
- Cutting Board
- Large Soup Pot
- Knife
- Cooking Utensils
Ingredients
- Your choice of boxed Curry Roux
- Potatoes
- Carrots
- Onions
- Any additional vegetables of your choice
- Your choice of protein
- Cooking Oil - 2 TBSP
- Rice (to eat with Curry)
Directions
- Prepare the vegetables by cutting or chopping to bite-sized pieces
- Cut protein to bite-sized pieces
- Heat up oil in the pot
- Cook protein until partially cooked
- Throw in vegetables and cook for a few minutes with the protein
- Add water listed on the box of the curry roux and simmer for 15 minutes
- Add curry roux
- Simmer for 10 min
Hubert Oswell - Rice Omelette
Next up, we have Hubert's favorite food, Rice Omelette!
Rice Omelette
Ketchup Rice
Equipment
- Wok/Pan
- Wooden Cooking Spoon
- Cutting Board
- Knife
Ingredients
- Rice (day old is recommended)
- Your choice of protein
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- Any additional veggies of your choice
- Ketchup
Directions
- Heat up the pan with oil at medium heat
- Cut protein into small pieces and cook in the pan
- Cook together and add salt and pepper
- Add additional veggies (if any)
- Add 1TBSP of ketchup, or to your preference
- Plate the rice onto the bowl and shape to your preference
Omelette
Equipment
- Pan
- Mixing bowl
- Utensils or Mixing
- Spatula
Ingredients
- 3-4 Eggs
- 3 tbsp Milk
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil (or butter)
- Salt and Pepper (Optional)
Directions
- On medium heat, heat up pan with oil or butter
- Whisk eggs together with Milk (add salt and pepper if you want!)
- Pour eggs onto pan and scramble lightly, to give a soft scramble consistency.
- Let the eggs sit until cooked on the bottom, the eggs should slide off the pan. (If eggs are overcooking, lower to medium-low heat)
- Fold onto the rice and tuck in
- Garnish with a drizzle of ketchup on top of the omelette
Sophie - Crablettes
Sophies favorite dish is Crablettes!

Equipment
- Mixing Bowl
- Pan
Ingredients
- White Rice
- 2-3 Eggs
- Imitation Crab or fresh lump crab
- Salt, Pepper, Sugar (a pinch of each)
- Cooking Oil - 1~2 TBSP
- Milk
Directions
- Heat pan to medium heat with oil
- Pour egg mixture into pan and slightly scramble
- Let mixture sit for a bit until bottom is cooked enough to slide off the pan.
- Slide the egg omelette onto the rice
Sauce
Equipment
- Sauce Pan
Ingredients
- Chicken Stock 1/2 cup
- Soy Sauce 1 tsp
- Rice Vinegar 1 tsp
- Corn Starch 1 1/2 tsp
- Sugar 3 tsp
- Peas (you can also add peas to the sauce if you'd like!)
- Green Onions
- Sesamie Oil (to drizzle at the end)
Directions
- Combine chicken stock, soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt, corn starch, and sugar into a sauce pan
- Bring to boil and stir
- Reduce to lower heat to simmer
- Keep stirring until desired thickness
- Pour the sauce over the egg omelette and rice
- Drizzle a little bit of sesame oil
- Garnish with green onions
