Check Out Info on the Upcoming Cross-play Feature!
Thank you for playing MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE.
We've received several messages asking about the upcoming cross-play feature, so this time we're happy to give you more info in advance!
Setting Player Name
- With the implementation of cross-play, you will now be required to register a player name to help distinguish yourself from other users.
- Please register a player name when the pop-up asks you to do so appears at the start of the game after cross-play is implemented.
- You will not be able to use a player name that has already been registered by another player.
*Player names can be changed via Profile Edit. Please note that players must wait 7 days before they can change it again.
*Players who do not log in to the game for 180 days or more will have their player name discarded and replaced with a string of random letters.
Turning Cross-play ON/OFF
- Players will be able to set cross-play on or off after launching the game once it has been implemented.
*Settings can be changed via the title screen by navigating to Menu > Settings.
Communication
- Players will still be able to use Text Chat and Voice Chat even when cross-play is on, but you will only be able to join an Agency made by players on the same platform as you.
- When cross-play is on, “My Banner” will be visible to players that also have cross-play enabled.
Custom Match
- When cross-play is off, you will not be able to join rooms created by players on a different platform.
- Furthermore, please be aware that the Observer function is currently available only on the Steam version.
Ranking
- Rankings are calculated within players using the same platform.
- The rankings for other platforms cannot be displayed.
- Additionally, users can receive ranking rewards only for the corresponding ranking of the platform they are using.
Block List
- With the implementation of cross-play, we have added a block list function.
- If a player is already on your platform's block list, that player will automatically be added to your block list in-game when you launch the game.
*Please notice that it may take some time to register players if the block list is long.
*Please note that if you remove a player that is still in the platform's block list from the in-game block list, they will be re-added to your in-game block list again the next time you start up the game.
- You can also add players to the in-game block list by going to their profile.
- Additionally, players can also be added to the block list when reporting them.
*A maximum of 2,000 players can be registered on the block list.
