Developer’s Blog Vol. 4 – Ranking Types

August 3, 2023

Hello, MHUR players! We’ve talked a bit about the ranking rewards before, but this time I would like to give a more in-depth description of the ranking system in general.

We are planning to include the following ranking modes at launch.

Individual Rankings:

  • Billboard Chart Ranking
  • MVP Ranking

Office Rankings:

  • Top Office Ranking
  • Elite Office Ranking

Event Rankings:

  • Event Ranking

As you can see, there will be a total of 5 ranking types! Of course, each ranking will be a different kind of competition...

  1. In the Billboard Chart Ranking, players will compete based on the number of Likes they receive from other players. These Likes can be received by being a good team player, cooperating with others in general, or as a sign of recognition from other players after putting up a good and dynamic fight throughout the whole match.
  2. The MVP Ranking will focus on the Rank Points obtained from the Ranked Matches. You can earn many points by coming out on top of intense battles!
  3. The Top Office Ranking is based around the total amount of Contribution Points obtained by the members of an Office. Having many members that play frequently will give you an edge in this ranking, so your best bet will be to assemble your squad and play as many matches as possible together to collect points and climb your way to the top!
  4. The Elite Office Ranking takes the total score obtained by the top 10 members of an Office within a match. There is also a league system in this mode, and the ranking within the leagues can make your Office move up or down the ranks, so make sure to work hard with your Office members to gather as many points as possible!
  5. In the Event Ranking, players compete based on their obtained Event Points, so participating in as many events as possible will be the key to make it to the top!

Please refer to the chart below for more information about each ranking, including limited time events.

We will be updating this blog with any changes (if any) regarding the duration or contents of the rankings once the service starts.

However, making it to the top of the rankings is not just about reputation or honor. There will also be rewards for obtaining a higher rank, which we will reveal later.

These are all the development news we have for now. However, we would really like to receive your feedback, so we are currently holding a survey about this project on Twitter. I would really appreciate it if you could take a moment to stop by and answer it!

See you on the next blog!
