Watch DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri: Loss on February 1

Following the successful screening of “DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri: Reunion”, the first U.S. Digimon theatrical release in 16 years, Toei Animation and Fathom Events have partnered up again to bring Digi-fans the English dub premiere of “DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri: Loss”. The movie is set to debut in select U.S. cinemas nationwide on February 1, 2018. 

Prior to the screening, moviegoers will be treated to story recaps and an exclusive look back of previous DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri. features narrated by Joshua Seth, the English voice of “Tai”, to kick off the one night only event. “DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri.: Loss” is the first of three exciting new Digimon titles that are premiering on U.S. big screens in 2018. “DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri: Coexistence” is set for Thursday, May 10 and “DIGIMON ADVENTURE tri: Future” will arrive on Thursday, September 20. Each feature will start at 7:30 p.m. local time.

After the “reboot” and Meicoomon’s rampage, Tai and friends arrive in the Digital World. They reunite with their partner Digimon, who have lost all their memories. As everyone discusses what they should do from within the Digital World, Meicoomon suddenly appears and then disappears. She still has her memories for some reason. Meanwhile in the Real World, Nishijima receives word that Himekawa has gone missing. As he investigates, he determines that there’s been some hidden agenda behind her behavior that has to do with a past event that determined both their destinies.
