This is Iizuka, Producer for CODE VEIN.

This time, I would like to introduce another partner character, Eva.

Eva Roux

A female revenant in a crimson dress. Having been rescued by Jack from her tortured past, she decided to dedicate her life to him.

Her voice has the power to calm bloodthirst. This unique ability plays a key role in Jack’s mission.

The white scarf worn on her dress is part of her Blood Veil. Being an Ivy type, the muffler can transform to penetrate the ground and attack enemies from below. Io also utilizes the same Blood Veil style.

While exploring with Eva as your partner, she can provide excellent long distance support with her bayonet and blood draining prowess. She can deal a great amount of damage with her long range Gift attacks, making her an extremely dependable partner.

Eva’s communal Gift, “Ephemeral Refrain”, can be used to increase your Dark Gift strength at the cost of increased ichor cost. It can be very useful for players that want to focus on Dark Gift attack strategies. 

Eva lives her life in service and gratitude to the revenant that saved her life. I hope you look forward to finding out more of the story when the title launches on September 27^th 2019.
